Lacerations: Before & After

Warning! Graphic Content. It’s laceration season and horses, old and young can get into about any predicament! Luckily, both of these horses were able to get into to see Dr. Skillman and stitched up.  One was an adult horse and one was a 3 month old foal that were seen at our clinic in the past 2 days for shoulder lacerations. These lacerations should heal with minimal scarring as long as these horses behave themselves in their stalls until stitches come out.
